Youth Class
Our Youth Program is designed specifically for high school students in Years 7–12, providing a positive and challenging environment where students can develop physically, mentally, and emotionally. Available at all HCA locations, these classes help young people navigate the demands of adolescence while building skills that will benefit them throughout life.
Through structured Hapkido training, students improve their strength, flexibility, coordination, and overall fitness while learning practical self-defence techniques and martial arts skills. Classes are designed to challenge students at an appropriate level, encouraging continuous improvement and helping them develop confidence through achievement.
The teenage years can be a demanding time, with increasing academic pressures, social challenges, and personal responsibilities. Our Youth Program provides an outlet for students to stay active, reduce stress, and build resilience in a supportive and encouraging environment. Through regular training, students develop discipline, focus, and perseverance—qualities that can positively impact their performance both inside and outside the dojang.
In addition to physical development, our program emphasises leadership, respect, teamwork, and personal responsibility. Students learn to set goals, overcome challenges, and support one another as they progress through their martial arts journey. These experiences help foster self-confidence and independence while preparing young people to become positive role models within their communities.
At HCA, we believe martial arts is about more than physical training. Our Youth Program empowers students to become stronger, more confident, and more capable individuals while providing a sense of belonging, achievement, and personal growth that extends far beyond the training floor.
