Hamish
Hamish is a Certified Intern Instructor who has been training with the Hapkido College of Australia since 2015. Throughout his years of training, he has developed a strong foundation in Hapkido while embracing HCA's values of respect, discipline, perseverance, and continuous self-improvement.
With a Certificate IV in Personal Training, Hamish brings additional knowledge of fitness, movement, and physical development into his teaching. His understanding of exercise and conditioning allows him to encourage students to improve their strength, coordination, and overall wellbeing while progressing through their martial arts journey.
Known for his fun-loving personality and positive attitude, Hamish creates an enjoyable and welcoming atmosphere where students feel comfortable challenging themselves and learning new skills. He believes that martial arts should be both rewarding and enjoyable, helping students build confidence while fostering a genuine love for training.
As an Intern Instructor, Hamish assists with classes across a variety of age groups, supporting students as they develop practical self-defence skills, improve their fitness, and grow in confidence. His enthusiasm, encouragement, and commitment to helping others make him a valued member of the HCA instructional team and an important part of the HCA community.
Through his passion for fitness and martial arts, Hamish continues to inspire students to work hard, enjoy the learning process, and become the best version of themselves both on and off the mats.
